Here is a list of the CDs from Mega Man and Bass's CD Database and they locations.

The CDs are easier to be collected with Bass, because he can reach places that Mega Man can't with his double jump and the Treble Boost. But there are CDs that can only be taken sliding in places that only Mega Man can reach, and searching for CDs with Rush Search. Collecting CDs with Mega Man is harder, but he can take more CDs using Spike Guard and Ice Wall to reach more places.

There are also CDs that can only be taken with an item or a weapon, like Wave Burner, Remote Mine and Spread Drill to break ice blocks.
