Notes

  • Some weapons do "half" a point of damage to enemies and mini-bosses, such as Freeze Cracker. This is because enemies and mini-bosses in Mega Man 7 use doubled health values. (So, 1.5 damage to Bass (Intro Stage) is actually 3 in the game data.)
  • There are several weapons with multiple values:
    • For the Mega Buster, the first one is an uncharged shot; the second is a semi-charged shot; the last one is a fully-charged shot.
    • For Freeze Cracker and Thunder Bolt, the first number is when the shot is whole; the second number is after it splits.
    • For Junk Shield, the first number is the orbiting shield itself; the second one is the projectiles.
    • For Danger Wrap, the first number is damage done with the weapon is fired normally; the second number is damage when a bomb is planted with Down + Fire; the last number is for when a small enemy is inside a Danger Wrap bubble.
    • For Wild Coil and Noise Crush, the first number is the damage done when the weapon is fired normally; the second number is damage done when the weapon is charged up.
  • There are several oddities or quirks with weapons against minibosses and bosses:
    • Damage values against minibosses marked with a * can hit multiple times due to the boss' lack of invincibility frames.
    • Hitting Freeze Man with the Freeze Cracker will cause him to pose and recover his health by four units.
    • Hiting Truck Joe with a Noise Crush will cause him to briefly stop driving and shake his head in a daze.
    • Hitting Spring Man with the Thunder Bolt will cause him to turn into a electromagnet, pulling Mega Man in, similar to Magnet Man's magnetic pull.
    • Hitting Turbo Man with a Thunder Bolt will cause him to become super-charged and invincible. During this time, he performs Crash Drive three times.
    • Reflecting a rock at Guts Man G with the Slash Claw does 4 units of damage (as opposed to 2 if the weapon is used directly).
    • When fighting Gamerizer, the player can use Danger Wrap on the little Spotaros it sends out and send them into the boss, causing a whopping 8 damage per hit.
    • Charging up the Noise Crush against HannyaNED² is extremely difficult due to the lack of a wall in the fight. More information can be found on the boss' page.
    • Hitting the Wily Capsule with the Thunder Bolt will shock him (no damage) but will prevent him from firing his four elemental shots. He will still drop his electric shot on the ground though.
  • Damage values listed in gray are those obtained though cheat devices or in the game's coding itself, and therefore not present during normal gameplay.
  • Beat, as a weapon, was scrapped early in development. However, every enemy and boss still has a damage data value associated with him.
