Mega Man Star Force Official Complete Works (流星のロックマン オフィシャルコンプリートワークス, Shooting Star Rockman Official Complete Works) is a book with a collection of illustrations, character designs, concept art sketches, location designs and information from the Mega Man Star Force series.

A hardcover re-release of Mega Man Star Force Official Complete Works was published in May 2020.

Version differences

• The inner images under the book flap that has exclusive illustrations is entirely removed and not re-distributed in the book.
• In the Japanese version, the front cover has Black Ace and the back has Red Joker, creating a duality of the 2 Finalization forms. In the English version, the back cover changed the Red Joker image to a Mega Man Star Force 2 artwork, losing out of the imagery of the 2 forms.
• The 2011 English release has a holofoil cover.
• The 2017 Japanese reprint changes the shape of the white box that has the MSRP and barcode from vertical long to horizontal long.

• Page 026-027
  • Gemini Taurus is missing its left hand.

English version:

• Multiple pages:
  • Masahiro Yasuma and Tokiko Nakashima were mistranslated as Masahiro Anma and Akiko Nakajima, and Yuji Ishihara's name was romanized as Yuuji Ishihara.
  • Many instances of EM Waves are written as "signal" or "signal waves". This is likely due to using an different translation of "denpa" which does not fit the games' context.
  • Many instances of EM Wave Change are simplified as "merge" or "combine", and even more strangely as "Signal Alteration". Some other game terms have also been omitted for simplification.
  • Some terminology aren't properly capitalized or written out, such as "Planet FM" being written as "planet FM". "Planet AM" being written as "planet AM". "Satellite Server" as "satellite server". "Hunter-VG" as "Hunter VG".

• Page 015
  • "Wizard Adapter" should be "Wizard adapter".

• Page 017
  • The "super armor" should be "Super Armor".

• Page 018
  • Cancer Noise: “like his bubble attack” should be “like his Bubble Shot”. The Charged Shot's name is written out in the Japanese version.

• Page 020
  • Rogue Noise: “Obtaining this Noise Change takes some special requirements. It is a combat form that makes use of a sword, similar to Rogue himself.” should be “This Noise Change is obtained by rejecting Link Power. It is a combat form that makes use of swords, similar to Rogue himself.”

  • "Merge Out" should be "Multi-Noise"

• Page 028
  • "Finalized Noise" should be "Finalization". This was "Finalize" in the Japanese version.
  • Black Ace: "two-handed sword" should be "large sword" or "great sword".

• Page 030
  • In the Red Joker rough draft image, the design notes are much smaller than the Black Ace rough draft design notes, and can barely be read. In the Japanese version, the text is bigger.
