Mega Man Zero/ZX SOUND BOX (Rockman Zero & ZX SOUND BOX in Japan) is the official soundtrack of the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. It was released on 25 March 2020, published by SMM itaku in Japan [1] and the Capcom Sound Team in the United States.[2]
This was first teased during the Rockman Live 2020 concerts, Toru Nakayama drew the box art for the set, while Makoto Yabe did new illustrations for the individual CD cases. Much like with the Mega Man X Legacy Collection Soundtrack it was also released worldwide simultaneously alongside the Japanese release, but in digital format only. However, aside from the fact this collection can be bought in as a whole, they also can be bought in individual smaller collections[3], essentially dividing up the discs with the music tracks from each game.
There is a total of 208 tracks spread across six discs containing the original source music (i.e uncompressed) from Mega Man Zero 1 to Mega Man Zero 4 and Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent. A total of nine new tracks are also included on the first disc with the Mega Man Zero 1 tracks, which are remixes created for the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection.
