  • Why are you creating pages with titles like "Bound Blaster (gun)" when you can edit redirects like "Bound Blaster"?

      Loading editor
    • Because I do, for example, I'd put "Flame Burner" as a title for Axl's Flame Burner gun. But then, it says that that page has already been made, so I go there, and it brings me to "Axl's weaponry". Same goes for six of the Mega Man 6 stages. So the only way I can do it is by putting something like "(gun)" there so I can actually make it. I'd like it so I can actually make it work good...

    • You can still edit a redirect. Once you are redirected to the article, the name of the redirect will appear under its title, and you can click it to go to the redirect. (More details here)

    • Thanks. I wanted to create "Flame Burner" (like I said in the example), so I clicked the link that shows, I see the redirect, I clicked on it, then I pressed "Edit" on the page, deleted the 1:REDIRECT:Axl's weaponry, and started creating.

  • Ok, we need to talk about your constant category making. Just making random categories hoping one will stick or random ones about traits that aren't important is on par with spamming. Categories should be used for important things or traits that very few characters have, or for the purpose of sorting and categorizing to keep things straight.

Quick has already deleted ones such as "Two-hands", "No-hands", ect. so making one about robots who don't jump is pointless. You need to think about what categories you make and if they're really needed before throwing them on every single page that pertains to them. You seem to make one every few days and surely you've noticed none have stuck around.

Your edits are improving, but cool it with the category making. We only want just enough to point out important traits and for sorting purposes.

  • Thanks for letting me know. I'm still trying my best, of course. I'll try to be better, and another thing: I don't really want to say it, so I'll say it this way: I'm only _ _ v _ _. You can figure it out. So basically, I don't really know a lot. Help MMKB for everlasting peace!!

    • Are you implying you’re only seven years old? If so you are way, waaaay too young to be here I’m afraid, the sign up age is 18.

I will hand it to you though. You spelling and grammar are great. But I greatly urrge you to learn what the wiki needs and does not need.

  • Hey there! Welcome to the MMKB. Thanks so much for your dedication to helping the wiki! But just a few things:

    • When adding information, you’ll want to add it as “professionally” as possible. In other words, informatively. An example:

Rather than: “In this area you can find cool things, like a Heart Tank and even a Light Capsule! Just watch out for the enemies nearby!”

You should say: “Once you reach this point, you’ll find a room with these enemies guarding a Heart Tank and a Light Capsule containing the armor parts.”

    • Trivia sections do contain fun information or information that otherwise has no place on the article, but the information should still have value. Things like how many concept arts a Robot Master has compared to the other is way too trivial, and not very useful. Try things like

“In Mega Man 10’s “American” boxart, SheepMan has scissors for hands, possibly as a reference to how sheep are sheared for their wool.”

    • Undoing a mod’s edit or undo is a no-no. Our decision is final, but if you want to take it up with us and talk about it, we have our walls and the page’s talk page where we can all discuss wether or not something belongs there or not. Undoing edits over and over to keep an edit on an article is called edit warring, and will get you banned.

Just a few things to keep in mind. I don’t know if Quick would have anything else to add, he’s been working with you most.

Thanks and keep up the good work! I see a lot of new images coming from you!
