MetFire (メテファイア, MeteFaia, also named MettFire) is a virus in the Mega Man Battle Network series. It warps around its side of the field and summons multiple meteors that each hit whatever panel the target is on.

Battle Chips

MetFire viruses drop the Battle Chips Meteor (メテオ, Meteo) in Mega Man Battle Network 2 and Asteroid (メテオアース, Meteoāsu, Meteor Earth in Japan) in Mega Man Battle Network 5.

• Meteor sets a cane in one panel that will cause a determined number of meteors fall in random panels from the enemy area. The attack is interrupted if the cane is destroyed.
• Asteroid makes meteors fall in and near panels containing enemies. The meteors crack panels they hit.

The Battle Chip Meteors (リュウセイグン, Ryuusei Gan, Ryuusei Gun in Japan, named Shooting Star in Mega Man Battle Network 4) and the chip family Meteors (メテオレイン, Meteo Rein, Meteor Rain in Japan) are also listed here due to their similarity.

• Ryuusei Gun freezes time and makes 30 meteors fall in the enemy area, hitting all panels three times and three panels four times.
• Meteor Rain is similar to Asteroid, but it doesn't crack panels.
