Metal Valley (メタル・バレー, Metaru Barē) is Earthrock Trilobyte's stage in Mega Man X8. It is a mine built into a valley, and a point where the meteorite fell, located somewhere in North America, possibly northernmost Canada or eastern Alaska.

Description

The stage begins with the Hunters being pursued by a large berserk Mechaniloid, Yellow Brontes. At first it will relentlessly pursue them through the valley, until they reach a dead-end and use a crane to hit it in the head three times. The Yellow Brontes will then begin to flee, prompting the Hunters to give chase. It enters a large hangar - when they enter, they are trapped in a sub-boss room with either Vile or Earthrock Trilobyte attacking them using Crystal Walls from afar. Once they reach the hangar, they again use cranes to damage the Yellow Brontes' head until it is rendered inoperable. They then gain access to Earthrock Trilobyte's boss room.

	After making Yellow Brontes turn around, follow it shortly until some gas tanks stacked in a cave on the right. Use Melt Creeper to detonate them and access to the capsule behind.
	Rare Metal - Life Bottle Full
	While being pursued by Yellow Brontes, jump onto the dinosaur bones and air dash to reach the Rare Metal in the air.
	Rare Metal - Double Barrier (Zero)
	While following Yellow Brontes, use the upper route on the suspended girders to find the Rare Metal. Axl's Hover makes this easy, though it can still be accomplished with careful air dashes.
	Rare Metal - Metal Discount
	While following Yellow Brontes, it will destroy some planks over a flat trench. Use a charged Crystal Wall with X to unearth the Rare Metal.
