This page is about the unlockable Model a. For information about the standard one, see Model A.

Model a (モデルa Moderu a), the Ancient Mega Man[1], is an unlockable bonus Biometal in Mega Man ZX Advent.

Appearance[]

Model a is not represented by a physical Biometal. When activated, the user takes on a much smaller 8-bit styled version of Model A's armor, based on the sprites of the original Mega Man.

History[]

Model a is a Biometal based on the original 8-bit Mega Man games, used in the unlockable minigame Mega Man a. If the player obtains all 24 boss medals and starts a new Mega Man ZX Advent save file, Model a can be used in the actual game through A-Trans once the player receives Model A. It is an inventory item at first, and must be used for the model to become selectable. Because there isn't enough room on the touch screen for its icon, Model a can only be accessed via the Trans-wheel.

Powers and abilities[]

Model a makes 8-bit beeping sounds when touching the floor and taking damage. The player still has access to the Wall Kick, but the Dash is replaced with Sliding and they can only fire uncharged Buster Shots. The player is also small enough to Slide through small spaces like their Humanoid/Reploid or Hedgeshock forms.
