Mr. Hat (Mr.ハット) is a character in Rockman.EXE Beast+. He is the operator of HatMan and the father of Shuuichi Eboshi. A renowned magician, Mr. Hat and Hatman were the suspects when another HatMan begins causing chaos around town. Unlike his video game counterpart, Mr. Hat is HatMan's operator, rather than his son.
History[]
Mr. Hat and HatMan were putting on a magic show attended by Netto and Meiru while around town another HatMan was causing objects to transform. Netto, Enzan and Manabe interrogate Mr. Hat, but he and HatMan's names are cleared when Netto acts as Mr. Hat's alibi and Manabe checks Mr. Hat's plug-in history, showing he had not plugged in during the incidents. HatMan and Mr. Hat volunteer to help investigate the incidents to stop anyone abusing magic. Later, Shuuichi wants his father to watch him practice magic, but Mr. Hat was too busy preparing for the next day's show.
When Phantom HatMan attacked again, Mr. Hat sent the real HatMan to assist Rockman and Blues. He later listened to Shuuichi as he apologized for the trouble he caused and how he got Phantom HatMan and then apologized himself for being too caught up in his work, promising to teach his son real magic from now on.
