Narcy's Withdrawal (ナルシー脱退 Narushī dattai) is the 24th episode of Rockman.EXE Stream. It aired on March 19, 2005 in Japan.[1]
Plot[]
Yaito is producing a Navi dress-up chip design contest. The grand prize goes to Narcy Hide's Pink Bunny design. Narcy decides to take this opportunity to quit their bad habits and live for art! They handed in their resignation to Neo WWW and went to the award ceremony, but it turned out that only elementary school students were eligible to apply, and they were kicked out of the venue. Holding a grudge, Narcy used Videoman to harass Gabgom's game characters by putting rabbit ears on them. Netto and Rockman are asked by Yaito to solve the case, but...[1]
Summary[]
A Navi fashion show is held by Yaito, who’s angered by the terrible submissions she’s shown. Her maid tries to calm her down when Yaito is presented with a bunny design. She decides that’s the one she likes the most and gives it first place. As it turns out, the creator is Narcy Hide. Narcy resigns from Neo WWW, vowing to no longer do bad and become a fashion designer now that someone understands their sense of fashion.
Meiru shows Netto the costume chips she bought for Roll. She gifts him one for Rockman, despite Netto not caring much for it. Netto realizes it was made by Yaito, who coincidentally calls him at that moment. She invites the two to an event she’s holding for the new fashion chips, convincing Netto to tag along by informing him of an accompanying game festival. Meanwhile, Narcy spends their entire fortune on empty chips, believing that they’ll be able to make chips based off their winning design and sell them to Gabcom. They fantasize about a successful future that’ll stem from their design. They have Videoman produce hundreds of chips to begin their fashion debut.
At the contest, Narcy is called on stage to be given their award. Unfortunately, it’s then they discover it was a contest for elementary schoolers and is immediately disqualified. Netto recognizes Narcy, but Meiru convinces him it can’t be Narcy. Narcy is devastated and drinks their sorrows away at a milk bar. Narcy blames Yaito Cooperation for being the reason they no longer work for Neo WWW and used all their money and vows to take revenge. Narcy sneaks in to the event and plugs Videoman into Yaito Cooperation’s main computer. Videoman makes copies of the bunny navi design Narcy created and has them spread around a bunny virus, infecting Gabcom’s games with bunny eared viruses and giving the characters bunny ears.
Rockman, Roll, and Gylde are plugged into the main computer to combat the bunny eared viruses. Yaito is certain that the one who’s causing this disaster is Narcy. She insults their appearance, causing Narcy to reveal themself. Videoman appears, fighting against the trio, but he’s defeated almost immediately. Narcy is angered and uses their Dimenional Chip is retaliation. Netto calls for a Dimensional Area and fights Videoman. Videoman attempts to counter Netto with copies of him, but they’re deleted immediately. Yaito insults Narcy and Videoman again, distracting them and giving Netto an opening to defeat Videoman.
Narcy flees and returns to the Neo WWW base, attempting to ask for their job back. However, Tesla acts as if they’d never resigned and dismisses their attempts to apologize. Sunayama complains about Narcy bringing all of their chips because there was so many the chips flooded the room up to their waists. Sunayama complains that at this rate the floor will collapse and then the floor collapses.
