NeoBards Entertainment Ltd. is an independent game developer founded in February 2017.[1] They have worked on AAA games for major game studios such as Sony, Activision, Square Enix, Capcom, EA, Konami and Ubisoft,[2] both as a support studio and a core developer respectively.
Work with Capcom[]
Since its opening in 2017, NeoBards has worked closely with Capcom as a regular outsourcing partner. Its first projects with them were the remastered ports of Capcom legacy games Devil May Cry HD Collection and Onimusha: Warlords,[3][4] and the porting of Resident Evil Origins Collection to the Nintendo Switch.[5] They would also later be contracted with developing the 2022 enhanced ports of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard which included raytacing.[6] In a more expansive developer role, NeoBards developed Resident Evil: Resistance and Resident Evil Re:Verse.[6]
In May 17, 2023, NeoBards confirms collaborated by Capcom on produced Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection with renowned director Eguchi Masakazu, and his team on porting the 10 classic games to current gen platforms utilizing our technical capabilities.[7][8]
