NinJoy, also known as Snapper, is a ninja virus from the Mega Man Battle Network series. The virus hides behind objects when not attacking. It uses a Kunai to attack its target. Some variants can also disappear in a poof shortly before an attacks lands on them, teleporting to another panel.
NinJoy / Snapper1, known as Genin (ゲニン,Genin) in Japan, is the first version of this ninja virus. It is green with a yellow eye. In Mega Man Network Transmission, it tosses 2 kunais at once.
Ninky / Snapper2, known as Chunin (チューニン,Chūnin) in Japan, is the second version of this ninja virus. It is red with a yellow eye. In Mega Man Network Transmission, it tosses 3 kunais at once.
NinJoe / Snapper3, known as Jonin (ジョーニン,Jōnin) in Japan, is the third version of this ninja virus. It is blue with a red eye. In Mega Man Network Transmission, it tosses 4 kunais at once.
Kunai, known as Ryoute Kunai (リョウテクナイ,Ryoute Kunai "Two Hands Kunai") in Japan, is the Battle Chip family from NinJoy viruses in Mega Man Battle Network 2, Mega Man Network Transmission and Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge. It makes two kunai appear in the diagonal panels in front of the user, spinning in place and hitting targets three times. Stronger versions increase the distance that the kunais appear. In Mega Man Network Transmission it fires forward two spinning kunais diagonally up and down, and stronger versions fire in more directions.
Moon Blade, known as Engetsu Kunai (エンゲツクナイ,Engetsu Kunai "Crescent Moon Kunai") in Japan, is the Battle Chip family from the fifth and sixth game. The user makes a circular slash around himself, hitting surrounding panels.
