The Nintendo 3DS is a handheld video game console developed by Nintendo. The console was internationally released on early 2011.

The first Mega Man game released for the console was Mega Man Legacy Collection, released on February 23, 2016 in North America. Some games were also released via the Nintendo eShop.

A third installment for the Mega Man Legends series was planned to be released for the 3DS, but it was cancelled.

The Nintendo 3DS was discontinued in September 16, 2020, and the Nintendo eShop is set to be shut down on March 2023, with the addition of funds becoming no longer possible from May 23, 2022 for credit cards and August 29, 2022 for Nintendo eShop Cards.[1]
