The Nintendo 64 (or N64 for short) is a video game console developed by Nintendo. It was initially released in Japan on June 23, 1996. The console was competed with the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation.
Mega Man 64 (a port of the first game of Mega Man Legends) is the only Mega Man game to be released for this console. The game was first released in Japan on November 22, 2000.
The console was succeeded by the GameCube in 2001 and was discontinued in 2002 .
