Bolter is an enemy in Mega Man 5. It walks about, stops to extend its head (and its spike), and then lowers its head and walks again, repeating the process. In Gravity Man's stage, it also walks on the ceiling in some areas. Fortunately, the spikes on their heads don't kill Mega Man in 1 hit as long as he has energy.
