Oshitsu Osarettsu (オシツオサレッツ Oshitsu Osarettsu) is an enemy from Mega Man 10 that appears in Nitro Man's Stage, Wily Stage 2 and Special Stage 1. On Hard Mode, they also appear in the stages of Chill Man and Solar Man. They also appear in Challenge #30, Charge Force 2.

Description[]

The Oshitsu Osarettsu is a large yellow shielded enemy with a red alarm on the top of its head. It blocks the path with a large shield and try to charge into enemies. They can be pushed with the Mega Buster. On Easy Mode, they are pushed back much further than shot. In Hard Mode, they move much faster. The best weapon to use is the Solar Blaze, as it will go through its defense and still stun it for a second, though the Chill Spike can freeze it, even if it impacts with its shield. Ballade Cracker can explode through the shield and cause heavy damage, and Thunder Wool can hit the enemy from directly above. They deal more damage than most enemies in Mega Man 10, so Mega Man has to be careful.

Etymology[]

Oshitsu Osarettsu's name is derived from the Japanese phrase "oshitsu osaretsu", which roughly means "to push and be pushed", which of course is exactly what the Oshitsu Osarettsu does to Mega Man, it pushes him away, and Mega Man can push it away.
