The world of Panzer Dragoon in Worlds Unite
Panzer Dragoon (パンツァードラグーン) is a video game series developed by Sega, the first game being released for Sega Saturn in 1995. The games are primarily rail-shooter games taking place in a post-apocalyptic world, usually involving a hero or heroine taking flight on a powerful dragon and fighting against an evil empire trying to harness the power of the living technology left behind by a once prosperous ancient civilization. The third game in the series, Panzer Dragoon Saga, is the series' sole role-playing game.
In the first Panzer Dragoon game, the dragon rider Kyle Fluge (named Keil Fluge in the crossover) rides the Blue Dragon to prevent the Prototype Dragon and its rider from arriving at the Tower, the ultimate weapon of the Ancient Age, after the Blue Dragon's original rider is killed pursuing it. The locale from the first stage in the game appears in the Archie Comics crossover Worlds Unite.

When Sigma sends several Mavericks to different worlds, Burn Dinorex and Gigavolt Man-O-War attempt to set an Unity Engine in the Drowned Ruins, but met local resistance. When Rotor the Walrus and Bubble Man fought Burn Dinorex and harm him, the latter expressed anger at Gigavolt abandoning him out of cowardice (as the latter was fleeing from the blue dragon and his rider) and managed to activate the Unity Engine, to Rotor's horror. Keil Fluge and the Blue Dragon arrive in the area and destroy the two Mavericks. With Rotor's guidance, they are able to destroy the Unity Engine by weakening its shield with the acid Bubble Lead and having the dragon fire at it.

- Keil Fluge - A young hunter that witnessed the battle between the Blue and Prototype Dragons. Before dying, the Blue Dragon's rider asks Keil to ride the Blue Dragon to prevent the Prototype Dragon from reaching the ancient Tower, or else the world will be in great danger. He accepts the task and departs on an adventure to save the world.
- Blue Dragon - A mysterious Blue Dragon that Keil rides to stop the black dragon.
