"This ball of energy splits into two upon contact with the ground."
―In-game text, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X
"Splitting energy ball."
―In Game Pause Menu, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X

Peace Out Roller (ピースアウトローラー Pīsu Auto Rōrā) is a Leg-type energy ball weapon that Vile obtains by defeating Armored Armadillo and Spark Mandrill in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. When equipped, Vile fires an electric yellow sphere from his knee which splits into two when it hits the ground and travels left and right horizontally. If the energy ball strikes a wall before it splits, it will travel up and down vertically. Peace Out Roller is similar to X's Electric Spark, however this weapon is not limited to hitting only walls.

Peace Out Roller is Armored Armadillo's weakness, and X takes a considerable amount of damage from this weapon as well.

Etymology[]

  • Peace Out Roller's name refers to the English phrase "peace out" meaning "goodbye", since the projectile splits into two balls that part ways across surfaces.

Trivia[]

  • The weapon is much similar to Vile's Head Bomb attack in Mega Man X when X fights Vile in Sigma's Hideout. He also fires a similar projectile from his cannon during his boss fights in X Mode in Maverick Hunter X.
