Peat (ピート, Pīto) is a bird robot created by Dr. Wily to imitate Beat. They rise from tubes inside eggs, then quickly hatch and dive at Mega Man. They only appear in the fourth Mr. X stage.

Near some of the pipes they raise out, there are giant orange blocks with an X shape on them. If the blocks are hit with the Power Adaptor's charge shot, the blocks will fall onto the pipe, preventing Peats from rising out of it.
