Plasma Gun (プラズマガン Purazuma Gan) is the weapon that Axl earns from his victory over Gigabolt Man-O-War in Mega Man X8. It is a short range weapon that releases electricity over a wide area, zapping nearby targets. It can break enemy barriers. This weapon is Avalanche Yeti's weakness, and can also be used to turn on the lights in the Pitch Black stage.

Mega Man X DiVE[]
Ion Gun (電離子槍), known as Plasma Stun Gun (プラズマスタンガン) in Japan, is one of Pallette's skills in Mega Man X DiVE. Instead of using the weapon itself, Pallette uses her Pallette Bullets pistol to fire a single zap that has a chance to temporarily paralyze nearby targets. However, when used on the ground, the gun's recoil will also temporarily stun Pallette as she loses her balance.
