The PlayStation 2 (PS2) is a video game manufactured by Sony Computer Entertainment. This console is the successor to the first PlayStation console. It was initially released on March 4, 2000 in Japan and later released world serval months later in the same year.

The first video game in the Mega Man franchise was Mega Man X7, originally released in Japan on July 17, 2003. The last game for the console is Mega Man X Collection, released exclusively in North America on January 10, 2006.
