Pluto Stage is a stage that appeared in Mega Man V that has Pluto as the boss.
Description[]
Being one of the second four stages, it is located on another planet (likely the planet Pluto itself) and will not regenerate Mega Man's weapon energy after completion. Pluto's stage takes place inside an underground quarry held up by support beams in the background. The stage's main gimmick is girder platforms. These girders come in many sizes, from being 1 to 3 tiles long. If Mega Man stands on them, they will shake under his weight and eventually fall straight down. In addition, if Mega Man crosses their x-axis (from above or below), they will crumble and fall down on their own. In addition to a mandatory encounter with Proto Man, Pluto's stage is up there with Saturn's stage in terms of being the most lucrative stages in the entire game when it comes to collecting P-Chips, though Saturn's count manages to edge out Pluto's count by just a bit.

Valuable pickups to look out for:
P-Chips: A total of 58 P-Chips (7 large and 1 small) can be found and collected within this stage.
- Crystal: These pickups can only be accessed by using Deep Digger to pull out a block that covers a ladder right after the first Gundrill. At the bottom-most room, the crystal is on the left side. Mega man can easily jump to it using the girder right next to it, but to get out without falling into the spikes, he will need to use Rush (Coil or Jet works). Alternatively, an enhanced Mega Arm can grab the crystal from the right side.
1-UP: In the lower right side of the Crystal, and Mega Man will have to pull out 2 Deep Digger blocks so he can slide into it.
- Proto Man: Right after the second Gundrill fight, Mega Man enters a room where he meets Proto Man, who plays his whistle before giving out either a big health energy, a 1-UP, an E-Tank, or a rare S-energy ball that immediately restores Mega Man's health and all of his weapon energy. He cannot be cheesed due to coming down from above.
Trivia[]
- The stage being inside of a quarry ironically contradicts Pluto being designed for jungle combat, though the idea of being designed for jungle combat in of itself is ironic, given Earth is the only planet in the Solar System to have jungles.
