Pointan (ポインタン Pointan) is a mouse pointer enemy from Mega Man 10 that appears in Sheep Man's Stage and Wily Stage 1.
Description[]
Pointans are an enemy that look exactly like a mouse pointer with 2 cartoony eyes too boot. They hold and pull an area with a size of four tiles to select it, making four blocks appear in the selected area which fly off horizontally and vertically. The block patterns the Point can use are:
- A 4 by 1 vertical line of blocks that will move horizontally right or left.
- A 4 by 1 horizontal line of blocks that will move vertically only downwards.
- A 2 by 2 square of blocks that will have 2 squares moving horizontally, and 2 squares moving vertically, only downwards.
Triple Blade can destroy Pointan and its blocks with only two blades, but Solar Blaze is also pretty affective against them.

- For Proto Buster, the first number is with a regular shot, the second is a charged one.
- For Commando Bomb, the first number is with the bomb, the second is the explosion.
- For Chill Spike, the first number is contact made with the blob; the second number is the spike trap.
- For Thunder Wool, the first number is with the lightning, the second is with the cloud.
- For Rebound Striker, the amount of damage increases each time the weapon bounces.
