The Professor (教授) (real name unknown) is the main antagonist for much of Rockman.EXE Beast+. A strange and mysterious man, the Professor was once a researcher for the WWW who left when Dr. Wily disappeared and was thought to be dead, starting his own research lab. He hopes to leave his mark on the history of the cyberworld, and as such extracted the Beast Factor from the Super Cyber Beast after it was destroyed and evolved it, turning it into a beastized virus that can form in the real world. He is behind the cybernetic plants infesting the real world and Zero Virus is his subordinate.
Overview[]
While the Professor revived the Dream Virus in Rockman.EXE Transmission, in the anime he instead resurrects the Super Cyber Beast, naming it "Glazer". Instead of being the second villain (chronologically) Netto and Rockman face like in the video games, the Professor is the second-to-last villain they face in the anime, just before they face Cache.
His catchphrase is telling others to “call [him] Professor”.
History[]
The Professor appears in the shadows, watching as C.F. Rockman fights beastized viruses that have formed in the real world, laughing to himself. He calls Zero back shortly after, tell him to retreat. The Name is Zero
