"Arcing Cutter."
―In game Pause Menu, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X
"This cutter travels in an arc like a boomerang. Use it to pick up items!"
―In-game text, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X

Quick Homesick (クイックホームシック Kuikku Hōmushikku) is a Shoulder-type cutter weapon that Vile obtains by defeating Boomerang Kuwanger and Spark Mandrill in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. When equipped, Vile fires a green, boomeranging cutter. If the player presses DOWN on the control pad, the arc is lower. If the player presses UP, the arc is about the same as when they fire it normally, except that it arcs in the opposite direction. Quick Homesick can go through walls and is moderately powerful. This weapon is even able to pick up items much like X's Boomerang Cutter can, making it a very useful weapon for Vile to have.

Quick Homesick is Sting Chameleon, Spark Mandrill and Bosspider's weakness. This Cutter weapon is also capable of cutting off Launch Octopus's tentacles and Flame Mammoth's trunk.
