Yamato Man

Rampaging Display (暴走ディスプレイ Bōsō Disupurei) is the 5th episode of Rockman.EXE Beast.

Synopsis[]

Yaito went to her family's company Gabgom to show her friends off a project called Radical Projector. After when Yaito starts abusing the machine out of her arrogance, thus causing the machine to malfunction and also causing chaos in the real world at Densan City. Netto and his friends must stop the machine to end the chaos.

Plot[]

At Akihara Elementary, Netto and his classmates are having a special lunch that includes a strawberry parfait. Suddenly, Yaito returns to Nihon after finishing elementary school from Kingland, much to the surprise of Netto and his friends. Meanwhile in the cyberworld, Glide greets Rockman and his friends after not seeing them for a long time.

Cutting back to the real world, Yaito took her friends to the development room of her family's company Gabgom to show them a project called "Radical Projector", which creates a solid hologram that can be touched by humans and NetNavis.

The first model to be shown on display is a giraffe. When Netto mentions that the models from Dinosaur Land are powerful than the model displayed on the Radical Projector. What merely Netto said lead to Yaito to become rash as she recklessly misuses the machine to create a giant model to be displayed on the machine, then Glide warned Yaito that if she continue to do this, it will exceed the power supply of her family's company.

With her ignoring Glide's warning and continues to misuse the machine, Yaito created a model of a whale. Yaito continues and creates a model of a blue whale. Afterwards, machine starts to malfunction and then the power of the entire Densan City went out, therefore Netto, Meiru, Dekao, Yaito and Toru must plug their respective NetNavis (i.e. Rockman, Roll, GutsMan, Glide, IceMan) into the cyberworld to stop the haywire.

In the cyberworld, the Navi sextets including Trill must go through the game-like security system to access the computer of the Radical Projector. Meanwhile in the real world, Netto and his friends has to avoid getting attacked by animals created from the Radical Projector. Later, Enzan plugs in Blues and he arrives to save Rockman and his friends getting surrounded by Beast Out Mettaurs. Afterwards, Rockman, Blues and Trill travels through a gate that leads to the computer of the Radical Projector.

When the trios arrived to the computer of the Radical Projector, Rockman and Blues tries their respective Program Advance attacks (i.e. Giga Cannon and Dream Sword) to stop the machine, however, the core is too strong to be affected by the attack. Fortunately, when Trill starts crying loudly, the core of the machine closes and the animals created from the Radical Projector disappeared in the real world, thus the chaos have came to an end.

After the incident was over, Enzan blames Yaito for her recklessness that lead to the incident to happen, which Yaito scoffs at him. Then, the employees of Gabgom came to Yaito and said that they have to take her allowance to pay the total damage caused by the abuse of the machine, much to Yaito's dismay. The episode ends.

Trivia[]

  • As Rockman and Blues (with Trill accompanying them) run for the tunnel leading to the core, the Sword chips Netto and Enzan use don't line up with what they call out. Rockman should have a Long Sword and Blues should have a Samurai Sword. Instead, Rockman has the standard Sword and Blues reuses his Variable Sword (using a Sonic Boom after passing through the tunnel, too).
  • Rockman's Cannons are mis-colored during the Program Advance sequence, using the High Cannon palette instead.
  • During the closing scene, Chisao is absent without an explanation.
