Raoul, known as Raul (ラウル Rauru) in Japan, is a character in the MegaMan NT Warrior anime series, and is the operator of ThunderMan.EXE. A proud and skilled NetBattler, Raoul is the leader of Team Thunder and protects the ghettos of Heaven City from Daryl, a corrupt mayor who wishes to demolish said ghettos in order to make the town look better. After defeating Daryl alongside Lan Hikari and MegaMan, Raoul and ThunderMan become good friends and rivals to Lan and MegaMan. He later aids not only both Raika and SearchMan during the battle against the Darkloids in Axess, but also Chaud Blaze and ProtoMan as well during the fight against the Asteroids in Stream.

MegaMan NT Warrior[]
Raoul appears in another country that Lan visits during his trip around the world. They have an intense NetBattle and soon develop both a friendship and rivalry. Later on, Raoul and ThunderMan help assist Lan and MegaMan during their fight against the Grave Virus Beast, but ThunderMan is absorbed by the creature during his effort to battle it (though ThunderMan himself would later be restored once MegaMan had successfully deleted the Grave Virus Beast).
MegaMan NT Warrior Axess[]
Raoul appears again in the anime when MegaMan is too badly damaged to battle. He and ThunderMan came to Electopia in order to chase BrightMan who had deleted one of their NetNavi friends. Raoul and Raika clash at first, but later on, they become allies after Raoul saves Raika and helps both him and SearchMan defeat the Darkloid quartet of BrightMan, SwordMan, NovaMan, and FridgeMan, deleting BrightMan in the process.
When Lan starts to become more arrogant and overconfident after his success in battling the Darkloids with his new PET, Chaud asks Raoul for his help in having the both of them pretend to be Nebula agents (with their disguises humorously being disco outfits), and NetBattle against Lan and MegaMan from within the events of episode 37 in order to help Lan see some humility while also teaching him a valuable lesson as well. During the course of this scenario however, their battle is interrupted by SwordMan, who uses one of his swords as a lightning rod. Because of this, ThunderMan is quickly defeated by SwordMan and in the process, his own disguise is destroyed, revealing himself to MegaMan. ThunderMan soon resonates with MegaMan, who obtains his Double Soul to defeat SwordMan with a close ranged blast. After this, Raoul and ThunderMan reveal themselves to Lan and MegaMan, with Lan finally realizing his own folly from within the ordeal itself and after this, both Raoul and ThunderMan leave Electopia so that the two of them could head back to Netopia. Before heading back home, Raoul is given a present by Chaud, which is a hat that resembles ThunderMan's head that Raoul himself wanted for a while.
