When Shadow was kidnapped by Copy Robot, she tried to locate him and, by obtaining intel from the network of Dr. Eggman, managed to enter the Skull Egg Zone and ordered Omega to stand guard near the portal. She then infiltrated the Wily Egg, and briefly conversed with one of the prisoners, Dr. Light, attempting to ask for information regarding Shadow and how to sabotage the fortress. (Mega Man #26)

She ended up detected, although not before sabotaging portions of the Wily Egg. Cornered by Metal Sonic and Bass, she released the Chaos Devil, which consumed both her and Metal Sonic before Dr. Eggman ordered for it to spit them out. She then was roboticized into Rouge Woman, with her Special Weapon being Black Wave. (Sonic Universe #53)

Rouge Woman then led an entire army of Robot Masters (all time-cloned due to the effects of the Skull Egg Zone, with all Robot Masters from the games save for the first Light Robot Masters Cut Man, Guts Man, Ice Man, Bomb Man, Fire Man, Elec Man, Time Man, and Oil Man). During the resulting battle, Shadow saw her and said that she shouldn't have searched for him, although Shade Man notes that she was "now among classier company". Rouge Woman was eventually reverted by Mega Man upon ambushing her during the battle, also taking her Special Weapon in the process. (Sonic the Hedgehog #250)

She is eventually reunited with Dr. Light (who ended up saved by Shadow via Chaos Control after Dr. Eggman tried to kill him), and informs him of the situation at hand. During the ensuing confrontation between her, Light, and the time-cloned Robot Masters, she also encountered Jewel Man, and had a humorous confrontation with him. (Mega Man #27)

Worlds Unite[]

Rouge has a brief appearance while the Unity Engines are combining the worlds of Sonic and Mega Man. Rouge, Shadow, and Omega, are inside a G.U.N. carrier that is merged with the Mayor's government building, causing it to explode and apparently killing all inside. However, these events were later reversed by the actions of Xander Payne.
