A saber, also called beam saber, is a weapon that generally consists of a beam blade emitted from a hilt.

Known users[]

Zero wields the Z-Saber, one of the Ten Shining Weapons made for Top-Class Maverick Hunters. Besides the Z-Saber, Zero also has several sabers available for him in Mega Man X: Command Mission.
- Characters based on Zero, like Fake Zero, Zero Nightmare, Omega, Mega Man Model Z, Mega Man Model ZX, and Zero.EXE, also wield similar sabers.
- X also wielded Zero's saber in some occasions, the most prominent being in Mega Man X6.
Sigma is a skilled beam saber user.
Agile is an X-Hunter who specializes in swordsmanship.
Bit is a member of the Nightmare Police who sometimes wields a saber.
Colonel is a capable soldier that wields a Laser Sword.
Dynamo has D Blade, a double-bladed energy sword.
Sage Harpuia wields a pair of Sonic Blades, and Model H uses Double Saber.
Elpizo wields a thin beam saber.
The original Steel Massimo is a beam saber user.
In Mega Man X DiVE, all Hunter Programs are able to equip a variety of saber type weapons.

Morph Moth (Hyper Limited version) has a Moth Saber (モスサーベル, Moth Saber).

Besides the saber, Zero also uses variety of beam blade weapons:
- The D Glaive and V Hanger in Mega Man X7. These two weapons are from Splash Warfly and Wind Crowrang, who also have similar weapons.
- The D Glaive and B Fan in Mega Man X8.
- The Shield Boomerang, Triple Rod, Chain Rod, and Recoil Rod in the Mega Man Zero series.
Phantom Sigma wields a beam scythe, it is also a hammer when there is no beam blade.
Red wields a twin beam scythe.
Gareth wields a beam javelin.
Marino usually uses a pair of Beam Knife, similar to the V Hanger. In addition, she can also wield variety of short-blade weapons.
Steel Massimo usually uses a beam Halberd. In addition, he can also wield variety of long-handled weapons.
Shadow has a laser edge attached to his arm.
Scarface wields a twin beam lance.
Hidden Phantom wields the Dark Cross, a giant beam Shuriken. And Model P can make Kunai and Shuriken with entirely ofenergy.
