Serotinal Bullet (セロティナルバレット Serotinaru Baretto) is an Arm-type missile weapon that Vile obtains by defeating Launch Octopus and Chill Penguin in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. This weapon shoots missiles which pause in place for a second or two before they begin moving forward. Like Vile's other missile weapons, the player can have as many of these on the screen as they have Weapon Energy for. Inflicts medium damage. One technique the player can use with these is to set them up while they are running, and letting them catch up to them and hit enemies while the player is busy dodging other things.

Serotinal Bullet is Boomerang Kuwanger, Spark Mandrill and Bosspider's weaknesses.

Etymology[]

  • The term "serotinal" refers to the later parts of summer when earth begin to dry, reflected in how the missile stays behind before flying off later.
