Shadow Hunter (シャドウハンター) is a classification given to weapon-wielding combat Reploids who are not Maverick Hunters, wielding their weapons for selfish means instead.[1] The term is only used in Mega Man Xtreme, describing the duo of Geemel and Zain.

Description

The two known Shadow Hunters, Geemel and Zain, were rumored to have been involved in a number of unsolved crimes over the years.[2] Sigma tried to convince them to join his war on the Maverick Hunters, but after they refused, he was forced to defeat them to get them to submit.[3] They were then assigned to work with Techno to hack the Mother Computer of Hunter Base. While trying to stop X in cyberspace, the Shadow Hunters were both defeated, deleting their digital forms and rendering their corporeal bodies inoperable.
