Silver Tomahawk (シルバートマホーク Shirubā Tomahōku) is Tomahawk Man's Special Weapon. Mega Man sends a fast tomahawk that drops low at first, and then spirals upward.

This weapon possesses strong penetration and attack power, and moves like the Air Shooter, in an upward-curving arc, though the Silver Tomahawk has a slight downward dip in its trajectory. If fired so the projectile hits a Tatebo or Shield Attacker GTR from below or behind, it will ignore the shield and destroy them in a single hit. The same is true of Knight Man, though he is not weak to the weapon. The arcing motion and piercing properties of the weapon also make it effective against groups of Wall Blasters II.

Silver Tomahawk is the weakness of Yamato Man, the Power Piston and all three forms of Wily Machine 6, though it is also effective against the Rounder II.

Trivia[]

  • Although the weapon is called "Silver Tomahawk", neither Mega Man's color scheme nor the actual weapon are silver in the game. However, it could be referring to the tomahawk's head.
  • Screw Crusher almost mirrors Silver Tomahawk, as S. Tomahawk drops low then arcs up, while S. Crusher goes up then arcs down.
  • It is the only special weapon in Mega Man 6 to not have the first part of its name identical to the first part of its Robot Master's name.
