"Mega Man: The Slash Claw cuts things apart, doesn't it?"
Dr. Light: "Yes, but it has limited range.
"
―Mega Man and Dr. Light, Mega Man 7

Slash Claw (スラッシュクロー Surasshu Kurō) is Slash Man's Special Weapon in the Mega Man series. It allows the user to swing his arm to generate a crescent-shaped beam of energy straight forward. It is a short range weapon, but the powerful slashes are very effective against smaller enemies.

Appearances

Slash Claw is obtained by Mega Man after Slash Man's defeat. This is Spring Man's weakness; hitting him with this weapon causes him to fall to pieces and prevents him from using his Wild Coil. It is also the weakness of Guts Man G and HannyaNED², and does 2 points of damage to Junk Man.

Mega Man 10

The Weapons Archive blocks in the first Wily Castle stage uses the Slash Claw when it uploads Slash Man's data file.

Mega Man: The Power Battle

Slash Claw is obtained by the player after Slash Man's defeat in the Mega Man 7 course. It is the weakness of Shade Man and the Wily Machine.

Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters

After Slash Man's defeat in the "Rescue Roll!" course, Slash Claw can be obtained by taking the Special Weapon Item dropped by Slash Man. With two players, the weapon will be obtained by the first player to take the item. It is Cut Man's weakness, as the Slash Claw is stronger than his Rolling Cutter.[1]
