Splash Warfly, known as Splash Wafly (スプラッシュ・ウオフライ Supurasshu Uofurai) in Japan, is one of the Mavericks of Mega Man X7 and is based off a flying fish. There seems to have been some conflict between him and Axl prior to the events of X7, as both claiming to have never liked the other when confronted with Axl as the lead character.
Strategy
Even after his battleship is destroyed he still occupied the partially sunken wreckage, claiming it as the ideal battleground. Warfly attacks by using a polearm (created from by combining the two wings from his head) and his version of the Splash Laser. He's highly vulnerable to electricity, in fact, using either Volt Tornado or Raijinshou will cause him to forgo his current action and retreat back into the sea.
