Etymology[]
Kogarashi (木枯らし or 凩) is a term for a strong and cold northerly wind with a speed of 8 m/s or more that usually appears from late autumn to early winter in the Pacific region of Japan. Maru (丸) is a common suffix in male names with multiple meanings.
