Storm Tornado (ストームトルネード Sutōmu Torunēdo) is the weapon that X obtains from Storm Eagle in Mega Man X. In its uncharged form, this weapon fires a long, horizontal tornado that remains on the screen for several moments before heading in the direction X is facing. The tornado is very effective against larger enemies, as it can hit several times with one shot. When the weapon is used at full charge, X is surrounded by a screen-high vertical whirlwind that can hit enemies from above and below.

This weapon is Flame Mammoth's weakness.
