Sumatran (スマトラン Sumatoran) is a tiger robot enemy from the Mega Man series that can efficiently and viciously take out intruders.
Appearances[]
Sumatran appears in Napalm Man's stages from Mega Man 5, Mega Man IV, and the Game Gear Mega Man. They also appear in the first two sections of Proto Man's Castle in Mega Man 5 and in the last Wily Battleship stage in Mega Man IV. They attack by pouncing on Mega Man.
In the cancelled game Rockman Online, Sumatran (수마트란) is a robot built to capture poachers, and as Mavericks they are a fearsome threat.[1] Sumatrans appeared as enemies in the Kronos Forest in two versions. The default Sumatran is orange and approaches enemies to slash them with its claws. Blue Sumatrans attacked by spinning at enemies.
