- "Electric trap!"
- ―Stage tagline, Mega Man X5
Super-Electromagnetic Lab Stage (超電磁研究所ステージ Chōdenji Kenkyūjo Sutēji)[1][2] is Volt Kraken's stage in Mega Man X5. It is an energy engineering facility that appears to be located near the Korea Strait.
Description[]
The stage begins with a short but intense Ride Chaser segment. There are eight small balls of energy scattered throughout the track - if they are all collected, they are used to open a door at the end of the track, which contains a Light Capsule. The door in the floor will be open regardless, which leads to the rest of the stage. It has somewhat sparse enemy placement, but has plenty of electric traps and gates which must be opened by activating timed switches. After passing through several gates, the player reaches Volt Kraken's room.

| Before the stage's final two gates, there is a vertical passage with a single gate. The Life Up is beyond crates and spikes that require the Gaea Armor, along with yet another gate. | |

| Collect all eight energy spheres during the Ride Chaser segment, opening the door at the end to reveal a room with the capsule. |
Mega Man X DiVE[]
Super-Electromagnetic Lab appeared in Mega Man X DiVE as the fifteenth Story stage, with Hell Crusher as the mid-boss and Byte (Gravity Gear) as the final boss. The theme of Bio Laboratory was originally used as the music for this stage; it is unknown if this was a mistake or an intention due to glitches being part of the narrative. However, the music was later updated to the proper song from Mega Man X5 on September 1st, 2021.
