Sword (ソード Sōdo) is a Battle Chip that appeared in all games from the Mega Man Battle Network series. They also appeared with a few differences as Battle Cards in the MegaMan Star Force series.

In Mega Man Battle Network 5 Sword-type Battle Chips can be sacrificed to use Proto Soul.

Sword, known as Cyber Sword in the MegaMan NT Warrior anime, is a standard Battle Chip that is available from the beginning in the very first folder in each game. There are no viruses that drop the Sword chip, but they can be found in the net and bought in shops. Sword deals 80 non-elemental Sword-attributed damage, hitting the square immediately in front of the player.
