Um, any volunteers to get pictures of the Mavericks in this game? --D-Boy Wheeler

D-Boy: Maybe I should be more specific. Since getting the sprites would be close to impossible, how about finding some of the "official art" of the Mavericks (full body if possible), like what was done for the Mega Man X7 Mavericks?

Getting the sprites isn't all that hard- I have a copy of Mega Man X8 for the PC (the international Korean version) so all I'd have to do would be to take some high-res screenshots and edit them a bit. I guess I've just been a bit too lazy to do that though. Still, I could also do that with the PC version of Mega Man X7 and I could also run the other MMX games on my PC via emulation and take some screen-shots and edit them appropriately. I just haven't had the time to do so yet. --Brahman 19:04, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

on the final trivia, some corrections[]

The section where it says "this is the only game where the inro stage can be selected" is not that true, since both psp games can do that, Powered up and Maverick Hunter.

X8 Manga strips or anything?[]

So, I was wondering. Does the game have a manga thing like most of its previous games? Because X7 had a manga thing, and I wanna see if that X8 manga has any List of Mega Man X8 enemies. Please get back to me when u find out, k?Macdawg (talk) 14:42, March 1, 2019 (UTC)

None (officially), unfortunately, unless it was a one-shot published in an issue from Comic BomBom like that manga X fights against ワラフゥ (Warafu, "Welofu"/"Werlof"? It's likely to be derived from フラワー Furawā). Same with X6, Command Mission, and Xtreme 1 and 2. --Quick (ut) 15:45, March 1, 2019 (UTC)
