"Contrary to popular belief, the Zero saga does not happen in 22XX, but on an unspecified century." According to Reploid REVO from Youtube, the Mega Man Zero/ZX trailer stating it took place several hundred years after the X series was actually an error, and in-game dialogue indeed points to the Zero series taking place in 22XX. Additionally, I checked a youtube walkthrough of the first game in the series, and Ciel says "You ARE Zero, the legendary Reploid who fought with X to save the world '''100 years ago'''" (it's really early into the game, so you can boot it up and check for yourself, but here's the video with a good timestamp: https://youtu.be/dEntYuL6iVo?t=14). And let's not forget, the Zero series started before X7 was even planned, so they clearly intended for it to be in 22XX. So unless they're going to retcon that in the collection, which I doubt, this "trivia" is false. And even if they are going to retcon it, the collection hasn't been released yet, so it's too early to say it's not 22XX. Edit: Whoops, forgot to sign it. Sorry. Can we get some citing to the games, sourcebooks, and official works here? This page looks to me to simply be a fan timeline of the likes the Zelda series spawns.

Even though I have three of the four games, this looks pretty damn sweet. Kaihedgie 20:06, January 15, 2010 (UTC)

About This Trivia Piece

"Contrary to popular belief, the Zero saga does not happen in 22XX, but on an unspecified century." According to Reploid REVO from Youtube, the Mega Man Zero/ZX trailer stating it took place several hundred years after the X series was actually an error, and in-game dialogue indeed points to the Zero series taking place in 22XX. Additionally, I checked a youtube walkthrough of the first game in the series, and Ciel says "You ARE Zero, the legendary Reploid who fought with X to save the world 100 years ago" (it's really early into the game, so you can boot it up and check for yourself, but here's the video with a good timestamp: https://youtu.be/dEntYuL6iVo?t=14). Sorry.
