Is there a source for Rospark being female in Japanese? He's voiced by a man in Japanese, and the Japanese wikipedia calls him gay.--75.85.180.218 18:17, February 9, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not too certain if being voiced by a male or a female has any real bearing on what the character's gender is. For starters, Ash Ketchum is voiced by a girl in the majority of dubs. Ditto for Koopa in the Super Mario Bros Super Show. Goku was also voiced by a woman in the Japanese version. Similarly, Roz (the slug lady from Monster's Inc.) was voiced by a guy. Though, you're right, we really need a source for this. It was my mistake believing what the person said at face value. Weedle McHairybug 20:14, February 9, 2012 (UTC)
Don't forget China from Hetalia! He's voiced by a lady too.
- If anyone thinks Rospark the Floroid is a female character, they may need to read up on their anatomy. Did nobody else notice the long pink knobbed appendage that juts from between his legs? That's not a thorn. ▫ JohnnyMrNinjatalk 07:10, February 10, 2012 (UTC)
- Doesn't he possess a similar appendage on his head, though? I don't think we'll ever know until they release the info officially. Weedle McHairybug 18:12, February 10, 2012 (UTC)
Manual explanation for his... quirks?[]
Hi.
I read on TV Tropes that the reason why Rospark is... well, "very friendly" with Gerry and Grey is because of faulty circuitry, and alleged it was in the manual. Since its not in the English manual, I presume it is in the Japanese manual. Can someone please give me the bio as included in the Japanese manual so we can add it in? - Dunno about the manual, but his profile in the game's official site seems to say something about him getting excited near men due to his "electronic brain"/"artificial intelligence" being not stable:
