Threat of the Asteroid (アステロイドの脅威 Asuteroido no Kyōi) is the 3rd episode of Rockman.EXE Stream. It features the debut of the Asteroids, the main threat of the of the season, as well as Takeo Inukai and Asteroid BeastMan.
Synopsis[]
After being fired for his cruelty towards animals in the middle of a film for an advertisement, Takeo Inukai use an Asteroid Navi named BeastMan, given by Slur, to hack the IC Chip on each animal and release the animals from a safari park (Animal Farm) to cause havoc at the city. Enzan and Netto showed up and stops BeastMan to end the chaos.
Plot[]
At IPC, Enzan gave Netto a new PET called Progress PET and thanked him for the gift. Netto later told to his friends at Higure-Ya about appearing in IPC's advertisement set at a safari park called Animal Farm.
At Animal Farm, Netto interacts with the animals and later tries to perform in an advertisement until failed to do so. When Takeo Inukai participate in the filming of the advertisement, he starts mistreating animals, which this lead to himself getting fired by the directors.
At his home, Slur popped up on Takeo's PET and gave him an Asteroid Navi named BeastMan. Afterward, Takeo went to the station of Animal Farm and plugs in BeastMan into the main computer to hack the IC Chip from each animals and then releasing them to the city.
After hearing the news about the animals are causing a rampage because of Inukai, Enzan and Netto plugs Rockman and Blues in the main computer of Animal Farm and encounters BeastMan. After BeastMan was defeated by the Navi duo, Inukai uses the Dimensional Chip to materialized BeastMan to the real world.
As the Dimension Area was already activated, Netto and Enzan crossed fused into C.F. Rockman and C.F. Blues, respectively. After cross fusing, the duo dodged the charging animals and then use sword-based Battle Chips (i.e. C.F. Rockman uses Custom Sword while C.F. Blues uses Long Sword) to defeat BeastMan before he logged out. Afterwards, Inukai was spotted by policemen before suddenly fleeing off with his lion Umanosuke.
After the incident was over, Netto saw an advertisement featuring Enzan. After seeing the advertisement, Netto cries while whining about the why he wasn't featured in the advertisement. The episode ends.

This is consistent throughout the first few episodes before switching to a much deeper tone of green, possibly due to a design change.
