Totem Polen (トーテムポールン Tōtemu Pōrun) is an enemy in Mega Man 4 that was originally designed to ward off robbers. It is found only in Bright Man's stage in both Mega Man 4 and Mega Man for the Game Gear. It often interferes with Mega Man as he tries to cross the spikes on the Battan, and one of the four heads chosen at random will fire red shots from its mouth. If Mega Man tries to leap over the Totem Polen without destroying it, the enemy itself will leap and hit him.
