The TrafficLightComp (unofficial name) is a network location in MegaMan Battle Network and it is found within DenTown. It serves as the game's fourth major stage, controlled by ColorMan.EXE.
Description
The network resembles a pavement with several roads and dual colors in the background and the stage (mirroring the Walk and Stop signals). In fact the Network itself works within this duality. There are two roads the player can walk in, a metallic road and a colored one. The colored ones are accessible depending on the color activate through several orbs. The Blue roads are operative when the player activates a blue orb (by passing through them), likewise the Red roads require red orbs. As such the player must navigate strategically to move between colors. The areas of the network are modeled so that the player circulates through all of it and return to the starting point, but with the path colored red, allowing MegaMan to turn off the traffic lights.
Story
The Traffic Lights are hacked by Maddy and ColorMan with the goal of messing with the system causing accidents everywhere. In turn Maddy in the name of the WWW attempts to sell safety programs at inflated prices. Lan and MegaMan fix the problem and convince the people to not fall for the scam.
As payback for getting in the way of their business (both present and past) Maddy reveals a cruel surprise, that Mayl has been locked inside a bus filled with gas bombs set to timely detonate. Lan and MegaMan venture through DenTown in order to block the traffic lights trying to trap the bus. Although they fail several times they eventually succeed in stopping it. The bomb is ready to explode but ColorMan finds opposition in Roll.EXE who delays him enough for MegaMan to interfere and defeat the WWW Navi saving Mayl from death.
