Training Area (トレーニング Torēningu) is an optional stage introduced in Mega Man X5. It can be accessed from the Title Screen.
Description[]
This stage teaches new features and changes done to old mechanics from the previous title. This training showcases the ability to crouch, the new wire climb mechanic as well as no longer being able to fire piercing buster shots with X and the ability of being able to back slash with Zero. The stage itself is pretty straight forward, with some wall jump sections and pits with enemies along the way. After reaching the end, Alia will emulate a digital version of Magma Dragoon.
