Valkyraffe (ヴァルキリン Varukirin, "Valkirin" in Japan), is a giraffe Mechaniloid from Mega Man ZX. This three meters tall Mechaniloid is composed with three major components: head, neck and body. It attacks by spitting acid from its mouth. There is a unit contained within its resistant body that can regenerate its head and neck if they are broken. The player won't receive damage from the body segment, so once the head and neck are destroyed, it can be used as a temporary platform until it regenerates the other parts. Valkyraffe appears in Area A Forest.
Etymology[]
Valkyraffe's name could be a combination between "Valkyrie" and "Giraffe". Moreover, "kirin" is Japanese for giraffe.
