Videodrone is the fourth episode of Mega Man: Fully Charged. It first aired in the United States on Cartoon Network on August 12, 2018.
Etymology[]
The name of this episode is likely a reference to the 1983 science fiction film "Videodrome" starring James Woods, as it involves mind control.
Summary[]
Aki blows off studying in favor of video games, which Suna criticizes as him being addicted to them. At Silicon Central, trouble ensues when Hypno Woman's hypnotizing phone app, Glitter, hypnotizes the majority of the student body except for Aki & Suna. Hypno Woman, a former guidance counselor robot, plans to create a perfect world by brainwashing everyone.
After avoiding the brainwashed students and faculty, Mega Man goes to fight Hypno Woman. He successfully copies her schematics, but she nearly overwhelms him until Suna assists in the fight with a remote-controlled drone. Defeated, Hypno Woman escapes and vows revenge. Aki admits there may be perks to studying, as Suna was in the library and unaffected by the app, and he couldn't have beaten Hypno Woman without her.
