Volteel Biblio (ヴォルティール・ビブリーオ Vorutīru Biburīo) is one of the bosses in Mega Man Zero 3. A Mutos Reploid based on an electric eel, he is one of the Eight Gentle Judges brainwashed by Dr. Weil as one of the "Weil Numbers". Volteel's personality is eccentric, as to maintain his compressed form, he removed the protection of his power generator, but as a consequence, the electromagnetic waves emitted by the generator caused damage to his brain, and he needs regular maintenance to avoid defects. When Zero goes to the ruins of an ancient library to search for Secret Disks about Weil, Omega, Dark Elf, and the Elf Wars Volteel appears and fights against him to protect the data. They later fight again, with Zero emerging victorious, casuing the Weil Number to remark he's crazy and boasts that he can't break Omega, hinting at the Devil Reploid's power in three stages...

Attacks

  • Invisible Dash - Volteel Biblio will swim into a hole twice. He cannot take damage during his swim.
  • Spark Chaser - Volteel will pop his head and tail out of random holes in the room and summon a slow-moving orb to move towards Zero.
  • Wire Shot - Volteel will stretch and swing on his tails at Zero.
  • Electric Cage - Volteel will plug both his tails into the ground, flooding the wall, ceiling and floor with electricity.
  • EX Skill: V Laser - Volteel Biblo repeatedly sends out two electric beams from his tails, angled like a V.
