WAZA

WAZA's logo.

WAZA (known as WAXA in Japan) is the Mega Man Star Force series counterpart of NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and is the successor to the Mega Man Battle Network series space center, NAXA.

WAZA has many branches in different countries and is shown cooperating with the Satella Police in Mega Man Star Force 3. However, during the events of Star Force 3, all of WAZA's divisions were destroyed by Meteor G.

Trivia

• According to Mega Man Star Force Official Complete Works, the WAZA HQ is in the crater of Mount Fuji.
• The name "WAXA" is likely a reference to JAXA.
• WAZA had a different name in Mega Man Star Force, when the name was originally NAZA. The 'N' stands to National, and 'W' may refer to World, seeing as WAZA branched off into other countries in the 3rd game.

• In Mega Man Star Force 3, when the player visits the Natl WAZA HQ after being told to delete a virus in the in the information board. An error warning will appear on the touch screen and rather than saying, "Left Satella Police Right WAZA," it will say, "Left Satella Police Right WAZAP!?." This could be a reference to the Whazzap village from Mega Man Star Force 2.
